Practicals and PAT

Delphi practicals, explained like a developer would

Most IT marks are lost in Paper 1. We work through real exam-style programs on screen, so learners see how to plan, write and debug code instead of memorising it.

  • Loops, arrays, strings, files and SQL
  • PAT planning and debugging help (learners still do their own work)
  • Recordings of every class for revision

Exam prep

Walk into exams knowing what to expect

Before June exams and prelims, every learner writes a mock paper under exam conditions and gets written feedback on exactly where marks were lost.

  • Past papers and memos for Paper 1 and Paper 2
  • Theory drills on networks, databases and data
  • Exam bootcamps before finals

Meet your teacher

Hi, I'm Dylan

I've been working in software development since 2021. That includes building games, writing business software and developing on the Salesforce platform. I bring that real-world experience into every class, so learners see how the code they write for school is used in actual jobs.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are the classes online or in person?

Classes are online, so learners join from home. We share the screen and code together live, and every class is recorded.

Do you help with CAT too?

Yes. CAT (Computer Applications Technology) learners get help with their practicals in Word, Excel and Access, with HTML, with the theory paper and with their PAT. They get the same small groups and WhatsApp help as IT learners.

What software does my child need?

IT learners need a laptop or PC with the same Delphi version their school uses. CAT learners need Microsoft Office with Word, Excel and Access. We'll help set it up in the first class if needed.

When do classes take place?

Groups run on weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Each grade and subject has its own group. Message us on WhatsApp for current times.

What if my child misses a class?

Every class is recorded, so they can catch up and send questions on WhatsApp.

Will you do my child's PAT for them?

No. We guide planning, explain concepts and help with debugging, but the work stays your child's own. That keeps it honest and helps them in the exam.

How do payments work?

Payments are monthly upfront by EFT or debit order. You can cancel with one month's notice.

Only 6 spots per group
